Nestled in the heart of Otley, our independent jewellery shop is proud to offer a personal and professional service to our local community. We specialise in on-site repairs and bespoke commissions, all carried out in our fully equipped workshop right here in the shop.

Alongside our workshop services, we also stock a carefully curated selection of silver jewellery and a small range of gold pieces, perfect for gifts or a little treat for yourself.

Our Story
Our journey began when Chris Thornton, a jeweller with years of experience and a shop in Bradford, visited Otley and instantly fell in love with the town. Drawn to its charm and community feel, Chris made the move and opened the shop here in 2002.

In the early days, Chris was supported by Norma, who helped get things off the ground. Then in 2010, Abbie joined the team after finishing Uni — bringing her friendly nature, keen eye for stock, and a real talent for customer care. She quickly became the backbone of the shop, handling much of the day-to-day and behind-the-scenes work.

In 2015, Jess came on board as a Saturday girl. It wasn’t long before her passion for the craft shone through, and she began an apprenticeship to train as a jeweller under Chris’ guidance. Jess has since become a skilled and valued member of the workshop team.

Most recently, in 2024, Sofia joined as our third working jeweller. With training and mentorship from Chris and Jess, she has quickly become an integral part of our small but passionate team.

Over the years, our shop has grown into a trusted name in Otley, known not only for beautiful jewellery but for friendly faces, expert repairs, and thoughtful, bespoke creations — all crafted with care, right here in our workshop. Today, the shop is proudly owned and run by Jess and Abbie, who carry on its tradition of quality and care in everything they do.
